Most people have never heard of polyaspartic concrete coatings mostly because it is a fairly new product that has been on the market for about 3 or 4 years. Polyaspartic is similar to epoxy floor coatings, however polyaspartic is a better product in several aspects. Epoxy floor coating is still a great product but it requires proper ambient conditions for the epoxy to be applied and takes long to fully cure.

Polyaspartic can be applied at tempratures as low as -2 degrees, cure very rapidly, you can walk on polyaspartic coated floors in a few hours after application. There other excellent reasons to use polyaspartic on your garage floor, polyaspartic coatings are UV resistant and much more abrasion resistant than epoxy and will last longer period then epoxy coatings.

We have successfully combined polyaspartic with a metallic chip to create decorative garage floors that are unique and simply gorgeous. Metallic polyaspartic finish is more expensive than epoxy chip finish but well worth the price of the extra protection and durability that you get with polyaspartic coatings and we typically install the polyaspartic chip finishes in higher end homes and retail and automobile showrooms.

We frequently perform sub-contracting work for a number of major general contracting firms in Toronto. The Nightingale Corp. project entiled grinding off all the carpet glue off the concrete floor, and repair certain cracks and faults, before applying the rich earthy colour of Esspresso Eco-Stain onto the newly mechanically profiled concrete floors.

Once we completed the concrete staining process, we sealed the newly stained concrete floor with epoxy primer, and 2 coats og 100% epoxy floor coating to produce a floor that exceeded both the Interior designer's, and Nightingale Corp. expectations for the concrete floor.
