Most cement overlay that are designed to resurface your existing concrete are applied at a thicjness of 1/16 to 1/2 thick and is designed to last many years with proper maintenance care.

Resurfacing existing concrete with stamped or smooth overlays is an ideal way to give a home instant beautiful curb appeal or a new concrete slab makeover you can be proud of and enjoy for years to come. There are many manufacturers of cement overlay resurfacing systems but Concrete Art-FX prefers to use products made in Florida by Surecrete. We find these products to perform well and designed to withstand thaw and freezing in Ontario's cold winter climate. We also found that popular local product made by DUROCK called JEWELSTONE does not stand up for more than 2 to 4 years and begins to come off and discolour. For that and many reasons, we choose to use Surecrete products for our concrete resurfacing projects.
